Approach
We have a driveway for 2 cars for the guests of Rhossili and Langland. If these spaces are not being used then Caswell guests can use them otherwise Caswell guests will have to use on-street parking outside the property.

The front door is on the first floor, access is via 22 steps leading up to the door, the steps are constructed from sandstone flagstones and therefore because of the natural properties of sandstone can be uneven in places. The steps themselves are 18cm high and 30cm deep.  At their widest the steps are 130cm wide but have a number of plant pots on the left. There is a balustrade on the right hand side as support but no handrail. There are two further steps to the front door, the first one is 18cm high and the second is 16m.  At the front door, that is 90cm wide, there is a 3cm lip that must be crossed.

House Layout
The house is on several levels; the part that contains the B&B bedrooms and breakfast room is on the first floor and two further floors. The first floor is where the breakfast room is situated.  Rhossili and Langland rooms can be found up a set of 21. Caswell can be found at the second level a further 32 stairs. There is a continuous handrail on the right hand side from the ground floor to each floor. On entering, the ground floor is level throughout and hall flooring is tiled as is the Breakfast room.

Doorways to the rooms range from 80cm to 83cm wide. They are all fire doors with automatic mechanical door closures that require more force than a normal household door to open. The breakfast room leads off the main hall and has a tiled floor which is all on one level.

Bedrooms

Each room has is lockable with a key from the hall side and thumb turn locks on the bedroom side. All bedrooms are uncarpeted but do have rugs.  The wooden floor boards are original and as such they are uneven in places.

Ensuite Bathrooms

Each bathroom has thumb turn locks. There is no threshold between the bedrooms and their ensuites. Each bathroom has tiled flooring and even. Rhossili ensuite has a stand alone slipper bath with no hand rails.  The shower has a step up of 13cm.

Langland ensuite has a small flight of stairs leading to the bathroom.  There are 3 stairs each measuring 20cm high, 24cm depth and width of 76cm.  There are hand rails to both sides of the steps.  There is door at the bottom of the stairs. There is a free standing roll top bath with no handrail.  The walk in shower has a 13cm step up.

Caswell ensuite has a shower with a 12cm step up.  The toilet sits on a raised step that is 21cm high.

The televisions in the room are all equipped with Freeview.

Each bedroom has ceiling lights controllable from the door and bedside lights controlled by switches on the lamps.

The duvets and pillows are made of a duck feather and down. For those would prefer anti-allergy duvets and pillows  these can be supplied on request.  The duvets are 13.5 Tog and in the summer we switch to 7.5 Tog.

Food and Allergens

Each bedroom is supplied with a fresh coffee, teas, fresh cow’s milk and homemade Welsh cakes. If you wish for any of this to be removed before your arrival please let us know.  Ahead of your stay, please inform us if alternative milks are required.  In addition, we can offer a fruit bowl as an alternative to Welsh cakes.

We do cook and prepare with most allergens in the kitchen.  Please inform us ahead of your stay if you have an allergy to certain foods, we shall do our best to accommodate your requirements. 

Pets

We do not allow guest to have dogs in their rooms. We allow Assistance Dogs in bedroom on request.

Other Information

There is a strict no smoking policy.

Mobile phones signal is strong on all networks.

There is a strong WiFi signal throughout the house.
